Our out of school club caters for school children up to 11 years of age, and runs during school term time.
We work closely with the following schools –
We offer transport to and from the above schools in our Nursery People Carriers.
From 17th April 2017 we will also be offering an ‘After School Club’ based at Rivacre Valley Primary School which will run alongside our ‘After School Club’ at Hooton Childcare.
Children are welcomed with toast and a drink before they head off to school. On their return in the afternoon, they are offered a filling snack (which they often enjoy helping to make) before deciding on how to spend the rest of the afternoon.
A PlayStation, Wii console, construction sets, books, games and puzzles are available at all times, whilst daily activities such as art and crafts, baking, junk modelling etc are planned for those children who wish to take part.
We can supervise homework, or your child can just “chill out” and relax after a busy day at school.
When we are fortunate enough to have good weather, we always take advantage of our lovely garden which is perfect for playing games outside in the fresh air!
OFSTED SAY: “ The leader of the Out of School club meets regularly with the reception teacher to discuss any concerns and finds out what topics the school are covering. In this way, the Nursery is able to provide continuity and consistency in the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (E.Y.F.S.) framework"
